Homemade Bagel Chips

These bagel chips are easy-to-make. You can use them to accompany a sandwich or dip them in salsa or your favorite dip. Add different types of flavoring you wish.

Nutritional Information per Serving:  85 calories, 3 grams protein, 1 grams of fat, 19 grams of CHO, 3 grams of fiber,  100 mg sodium.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes   Bake Time: 12 minutes

Serves:  2

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat bagel or other desired flavor
  • Cooking Spray
  • Garlic powder, oregano (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Using a sharp serrated knife, slice the bagel vertically (from top to bottom) into very thin slices.  Arrange in single layer on baking sheet.  Lightly spray bagel slices.  Sprinkle spices of choices on bagel slices.  Bake for 12 minutes.  Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
